This detail is for cars that requires two stages of machine polishing to remove the more severe defects such as light scratches, marring, swirls, and hazing.  Once we have carried out what we call the "cutting stage" we then move onto the refining stage.  This stage allows us to remove any buffer trails caused by the cutting stage and also allows us to really finesse the paintwork, extracting as much gloss as possible, giving the perfect mirror gloss finish customers expect.
